Autumn exhibition on Haiti in the Cathedral of St. Wenceslas in Olomouc
Olomouc – In the Cathedral of St. Wenceslas Square on Wenceslas Square 6 in Olomouc, from September 20 to 30, 2021, it will be possible to see an exhibition of photographs of ALL COLORS OF HOPE or how Haiti (does not) lose schoolchildren.
The exhibition depicts the fates of children and adults from the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, which can be compared to the African region. Haiti is best known for the devastating earthquake of 2010, Hurricane Matthew in 2016 and the recent earthquake of July 2021. Moreover, even now, during the coronavirus pandemic, it is not doing well. However, people are happy here, they value family and health, and they take everything with stoic calm. The “Pearl of the Caribbean” continues to shine and a mixture of colors and emotions breathes on you from Jiří Pasz’s photographs.
