Christmas greetings from Sr. Margeret from Gonaïves
Dear Friends and sisters,
Happy Christmas and joyfilled New Year!
“We wish you all a joyous Christmas and a peaceful New Year. May the Lord bless you and all your dear ones with Love, Joy, Peace and Happiness.
Christmas is a sacred time of presence with one another. This festival continually reminds us of an important value of loving each other as we share peace and joy. Christmas allows us to open the manger of our hearts. It invites us to love through selfless giving. It’s our duty to help Christ to extend our hearts and hands to help the needy in the world.
We would like to say a special prayer and thanks to all our partners and friends who have generously shared what you could, to help us to continue our mission here, of reaching out to all those in need through different projects during the year. Especially helping the people with food, awareness programmed and masks during this pandemic lock down. Without your support we can’t do much, we appreciate dear friends all that you are to us and we count on your collaboration for the future years. We are very much touched by the care and concern you expressed in a very special way during the country’s political turmoil as well as during the Pandemic lock down.
The mission activities are going on in full swing. Different groups celebrated Christmas on different days and the joy was doubled since they could not celebrate last year due to the political unrest in the country.
As the cry raises louder Come Lord, Prince of Peace, wonderful councilor, let us welcome Him with open arms and hearts. May He continue to shower His blessings on all of our benefactors. We thank the Lord for everything and thank each one of you.
Lots of love and affection from us all,
Sr. Margaret Michael and the community
