Exhibition on Haiti at the Fort Science
Come not only gain new knowledge and skills in the Fortress of Knowledge, but also learn something about Haiti. From October 12 to November 21, 2021, it will be possible to see the exhibition ALL COLORS OF HOPE or how Haiti (does not) lose schoolchildren.
The exhibition depicts the fates of children and adults from the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, which can be compared to the African region. Haiti is best known for the devastating earthquake in 2010 and Hurricane Matthew in 2016. However, even now, during the coronavirus pandemic and after a series of devastating earthquakes that hit the south of July 2021, it is not much better. However, people are happy here, they value family and health, and they take everything with stoic calm. The “Pearl of the Caribbean” continues to shine and the mixture of colors and scents breathes on you from Jiří Pasz’s photographs.
Fort Science, Areál Korunní pevnůstky, 17 November 7, Olomouc (Atom Gallery, 2nd floor); entry to the Fortress of Knowledge according to the current price list (the exhibition is then free).
