Christmas is coming and you may be wondering how to make your loved ones happy. Schoolboys from Haitian Gonaïves are already happy. They received an unusual but very valuable gift. In their school was added 7th grade. “Children do not have to leave school after attending sixth grade. They have another year of education ahead of them, but also the certainty that they will get hot food every day,” says Klára Lőffelmannová from the Archdiocesan Charity Olomouc.

Caritas, together with Czech donors, has been helping Haiti for 13 years. Now people of good will can also participate in equipping the new 7th class in Gonaïves. “Just click on the Gift for Haiti on our website and then just choose,” smiles Klára Lőffelmann. Among the gifts for Haiti are, for example, a set of textbooks, a ball or bench and chairs and other things.
