Gonaïves – At the end of August, the parents of Haitian schoolchildren received uniforms and textbooks for the next school year. They were distributed to them by sisters from the Order of St. Joseph, who run a school in Gonaïves in the northwest of the country. Next week, the children can sit on the benches again, continue their studies and try to improve the future for themselves and their families.
